Privacy notice

This website collects very little personal data. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who is responsible for your data

MBD Marketing and Business Development Agency Ltd (company number 15385022, 167-169 Great Portland Street, Fifth Floor, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom) and MBD Marketing and Business Development Agency Ltd Co. (New Mexico) are the controllers of personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at hello@mbd.agency.

What we collect

When you send the contact form

  • Your name, work email, company name (optional), the services you selected and your message.
  • The country your request came from, which our hosting provider works out from your IP address, and your browser's user agent. We use these to spot spam.
  • Your IP address is used for a short time to limit repeated submissions. It is not stored with your message.

When you browse the site

  • We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
  • Your browser's session storage remembers whether you have already seen the opening animation. This stays on your device and is never sent to us.
  • Fonts and all other files are served from our own domain, so no third-party font or script services receive your visit.
  • Our hosting provider processes technical request data, such as your IP address, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and take steps you ask for before any contract. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep the website secure and free of spam. Legal basis: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).

We do not sell your data, use it for automated decision-making or add you to marketing lists.

Who processes it for us

  • Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website and the database that stores contact form submissions, and emails a copy of each submission to our own inbox so we can reply quickly.
  • Our email provider handles the messages we exchange with you after you get in touch.

These providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy arrangement.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form submissions for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless the enquiry leads to a working relationship, in which case we keep the records needed for that relationship and our legal obligations.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another service. Email hello@mbd.agency and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If you live in the United States, you can make the same requests by emailing us, and we will handle them under the law that applies to you.

Children

This website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
